Potterpourri 101

I'm afraid one can only find this page amusing if one has the book scene(s) this page is referring to still very freshly in mind. And even then this page here is not sooo funny, the next pages will be funnier again (I hope!).

I am alluding to two details of the time travelling we learn from Hermione: a) she tells Harry that time travels are actually ultra-dangerous with many dangers so they are rightfully forbidden (but then she does it throughout a whole year almost daily. Yeeeah. :smoking:); and even more b) after Harry and Hermione have done everything right there is only one important thing to do - getting to Dumbledore exactly when he magically locks the door to the sick room. While they are running madly Harry asks Hermione what will happen if they don't reach Dumbles in time. Hermione only answers "I don't want to think about it!"
Eh. Hm. :? Am I the only one who thinks this part is a little weird? Is there something I don't get? What would be sooo horrible if they arrive one, two, five minutes later? Dumbledore is such a super-wizard, can't he simply unlock the door again? Is locking the door sooo important anyway (I think they leave that out in the movie?)? And even if the kids would be arriving ONE HOUR too late, at a pinch Snape and Fudge could simply be obliviate-d (grrr) and then everything would be fine anyway...? Ponder ponder overanalysing. :P

EDIT: The clever reader IllegalSympathy wrote me: "If they arrive later than the deadline, they have no alibi as to where they were when Sirius escaped
(in the books Harry defends Sirius, everyone thinks he's befuddled and in shock and therefore does not believe him)". This Sirius-explanation sounds pretty good to me! Though I still think Hermione is a little over-dramatic then.
