Yes. She. Did. Ha har. [link]

This is a little parody on the trailer of the upcoming new 2D ( wooo-hoo!!! ) Disney movie "The princess and the frog". You can check the original out on the website: [link]

I so hope this movie is gonna be good. The things I saw this far look quite promising ... and drawing those two characters was a lot of fun ( although, I know, I oversaw details from Tiana´s hairdo and necklace - sigh! ). Froggy is that cute, I think *I* would be able give him a big kiss.

Part 3 of my Disney drabbles.

The princess and the frog is (c) Walt Disney Pictures. Feel free to correct me if something is wrong or missing.

Hilarious and so true!

Thank you very much! It´s somehow good to know that the original version is still familiar to the people, despite the "stardom" of the version with the kiss.

xD Ohmigosh, I noticed that too! I came across a book full of Grimm's Fairy Tales (or was it Hans Christian Anderson?) and read the Frog Prince one.. And it was like, "STUPID FROG GO AWAY!" *whack!* *Frog turns into a handsome prince* Prince: "Yay! The spell has been broken because you have accepted me! Thank you so much, let's get married!"

And I was like.. Whut? xD

Moral of the story, kids - If you're in debt to someone, run away from them, and when they keep bugging you about it, give them a concussion so they think you've already paid.

Anyway, you're getting a fave from me.

Wow! Thank you for the fave and thank you even more for the long comment! Joy!

Yes, the original Frog Prince is from the Grimm´s fairy tales. A while ago I read an official (?) interpretation of the story on Wikipedia ... there they are writing the deeper meaning is ...it´s all about sexuality. That the princess is afraid of the frog represends the fear of young girls toward male sexuality; when the princess throws the frog is symbolic for overcoming this fear and getting active. Meh. I´m not prudish, but somehow my personal feelings about the fairy tale can´t identify with this. I prefer the interpretation of someone else I had a little chat with on imdb: the heroine gets rewarded ( = the prince ) because she refused to neglect her true beliefs ( = sharing the bed with a slimy frog is unbearable ). If you are in debt it´s not bad to pay back but it doesn´t mean you have to humilate yourself.

Thank you again!

According to the internet, and to my college friends, everything is about sex. *sigh*

That's a pretty interesting analysis there - you're right, I suppose the frog did deserve that smack against the wall for wanting to get in bed with her. >D

I like how you even included that eye thing she does.
:iconchepseh:
Oh, thank you! I love it when Disney captures special habits of facial expression in moving pictures.
:iconimaginationpower:
what could be worser:
Being a frog for eternity
or slammed to the wall?
BOTH!
XD

Thanky you for the comment! :D
I think I in his situation would choose the wall, but only if it would be perfectly clear that I will transform into a completely unharmed (!) prince the second after ( well, at least the fairy tale is not telling anything about broken limps or bruises or so at the prince´s body. MAGIC! ).
